1-to-1 lessons is the best way to practice speaking, and a super convenient way to do it these days is via Skype. I've been taking Skype lessons with several really nice Japanese teachers I found on the iTalki website, and have had a great experience with them. The prices vary by teacher but are in general very reasonable and lower than most in-person private lessons - in addition to all the time and money saved on transport and cafe fees etc. You can check out the iTalki site here:
