When you update an app in which you have paid for in-app purchases, you can restore them free of charge (naturally!) from the 'Options' page with the 'Restore Purchases' button.

The game continues after the timer has run out!
No problem, in normal mode the timer is just for bonus points.
The high score has reset!
The high score is actually a weekly high score. I felt this was better so that the high score wouldn't soon get stuck at a tough-to-beat level and lose it's motivating power.
I got a word in the grid from the first hint but it's not green!
The color shows the current progress rating of the word, so if it was previously red, getting a word from the first hint should then make it orange.
Sometimes a green 'crossed-off' word reappears.
Near the end of a level, in order to fill the grid sometimes 'green' words are used.
Sometimes the text-to-speech pronunciation is different from the written kana
This is because there are various possible pronunciations of some kanji depending on the context. I previously had the text-to-speech say the hiragana version, so that was correct, but I got feedback saying that the intonation was sometimes wrong (which is better if based on the kanji). So, it's not perfect but at this stage it is the best compromise I can make. Perhaps in future I may be able to go through and customize the pronunciations individually if there is enough demand.
App performance is very slow!
If many apps are open in the background, performance may be laggy on older devices such as iPhone 4S. Close down unneeded background apps by double-pushing the home button and flicking said apps up off the screen. Performance should now be fine.
Crashing after first installing.
If you have a problem starting the app after installing it, try deleting the app (on device and iTunes), doing a 'hard reset' (by holding the home button plus top power button for 5 seconds), and turning back on and downloading again (no need to pay again) and re-installing the app.
